[Editor’s Note to visitors from the Twitter Account of LADA @LadaRoslycky: This Note was added at 14:40 UTC, Jan 27, 2018. Earlier today, Lada Roslycky tweeted falsely about this website: “Domain Created 2016-01-02 but they claim it was 2014 — earliest article is March 2016, aka inconsistency/ pro good relations Russia/USA, anti Ukraine, pro-Russia. Bet its run out of St Petersburg troll farm.” No, Lada is confused. We have two websites. It is the Quemadoinstitute.org website that was founded in 2014, as we stated. If you check the archives of Quemado Institute, you will see the first article was published in December 2014. I urge you to read it. It is entitled, Tragedy of Donbass, the Saddest Episode of Modern History, and describes the suffering of the Donbass people due to artillery fire by the Ukrainian government. The Novorossiya Daily Sun site was created later, as Lada noted. Miss Roslycky is apparently quite a sleuth. If this is the best “evidence” she can muster that we deliberately publish falsehood, it is a testament to our integrity. We of course have no connections with anyone in St. Petersburg or Russia, and are not trolls. We post what we believe is accurate about foreign affairs, to the best of our ability. Furthermore, a person need not be a troll to recognize the wisdom of having friendly relations with Russia. Even the President of the United States, whom we support, would agree. I want to add that Lada did not so much as email us to confirm her accusations. Who indeed is she? She says in her profile she is a “patriot”. Of what country? If the US, she should support President Trump. I invite anyone with questions to contact me at the email address below. Apologies to our regular readers. The contents of the About Page below have not been changed. —Karl Pomeroy, Chief Editor, Quemado Institute, January 27, 2018]
Novorossiya Daily Sun is an American-based news platform offering up-to-date reports on the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Novorossiya Daily Sun is a publication of Quemado Institute.
The Quemado Institute website was originally founded as a platform for thoughtful discussion on topics of current interest, including world peace, modern physics, American foreign policy in Europe and Asia, health, and the environment. Due to the urgency of the ongoing war in Donbass, American relations with Russia, and the recent US elections, these issues are the primary focus of the Institute at the present time.
Quemado Institute was named after the elk and wildlife refuge we own and maintain in the high mesa country near Quemado, New Mexico, (see photo). Karl William Pomeroy, Institute founder, is a retired physicist and embedded systems engineer. He now devotes much of his time to the in-depth study of alternative views on world affairs, particularly concerning US-Russian relations.
