Justice for Assange: UN rejects UK appeal / linkis.com/bt87K / December 4, 2016 / On 30 November 2016, the United Nations rejected the United Kingdom’s attempt to appeal the UN’s February ruling in favour of Julian Assange. The decision therefore stands and the UK and Sweden are once again required to immediately put an end to Mr. Assange’s arbitrary detention and afford him monetary compensation. Earlier this year the United Nations concluded the 16 month long case to which the UK was a party. The UK lost, appealed, and today – lost again. The UN instructed the UK and Sweden to take immediate steps to ensure Mr. Assange’s liberty, protection, and enjoyment of fundamental human rights. No steps have been taken, jeopardising Mr. Assange’s life, health and physical integrity, and undermining the UN system of human rights protection. Now, the United Nations has found that the United Kingdom’s request for review of this decision (filed on March 24) was inadmissible; the United Kingdom has now reached the end of the road in its attempt to overturn the ruling. As a member of the Security Council and the United Nations Human Rights Council, the United Kingdom must respect its commitment to the United Nations, and release Mr. Assange immediately. Now, more than ever, moral leadership is required; maintaining Mr. Assange’s effective detention (which stands at six years as of 7 December, 2016) will only serve to green light future abuses against defenders of free speech and human rights. Mr. Assange stated “Now that all appeals are exhausted I expect that the UK and Sweden will comply with their international obligations and set me free. It is an obvious and grotesque injustice to detain someone for six years who hasn’t even been charged with an offence.” Excerpt from UN Press Release: “The UN expert group also considered four requests for review* of previous opinions, submitted by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Kuwait and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The Working Group concluded that the requests did not meet the threshold of a review as enshrined in paragraph 21 of its methods of work,** and that they were thus not admissible.” MORE>> Click here. slavdec4-16vVictory for Standing Rock Sioux: Dakota Access Pipeline to be Rerouted / Sputnik / December 4, 2016 / The US Army Corps of Engineers has denied the necessary easement for the $3.8 billion Dakota Access Pipeline to build near the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota, the tribe said, on the grounds that it could contaminate water supplies. “Today, the US Army Corps of Engineers announced that it will not be granting the easement to cross Lake Oahe for the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline,” the December 4 statement by Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Chairman Dave Archambault II said. “Instead, the corps will be undertaking an environmental impact statement to look at possible alternative routes.” The Standing Rock Sioux and a growing coalition of other tribes, environmental activists and supporters have been protesting the construction of the nearly 1,200 mile pipeline for months, and suffering increasingly violent clashes with law enforcement and security personnel over the issue. The Standing Rock Sioux have objected to the proposed pipeline route for years, saying it threatened their water and sacred cultural sites and violated treaties. The pipeline is mostly complete, and has been waiting for permission to run under federal land encompassing Lake Oahe. “We wholeheartedly support the decision of the administration and commend with the utmost gratitude the courage . . . Arnoldski (from RusVesna) / Fort Russ / December 2, 2016 / A Ukrainian soldier has crossed the contact line in Donbass on an infantry fighting vehicle and surrendered to the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic. This was reported on Thursday by RIA Novosti citing a source in the LPR’s law enforcement bodies. “On December 1st, a serviceman of the Ukrainian army crossed the contact line with the LPR on an IFV, after which he voluntarily surrendered to units of the People’s Militia,” the source reported. According to the source, the incident took place in the Kirovsk district. Whether this was part of an attempt to penetrate the line or whether the Ukrainian soldier simply deserted has not been specified. “Now the UAF Servicemen has been sent to the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs,” the source added. This incident comes on the heels of what the LPR People’s Militia’s spokesperson, Andrey Marochko, noted earlier: the poor morale of Ukrainian soldiers leading to frequent cases of desertion.

Ukrainian troops shell DPR village from Grad multiple missile launcher systems / TASS / December 2, 2016 / DONETSK / Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Belaya Kamenka in the south of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from Grad multiple missile launcher systems, a spokesman for the DPR law enforcement agencies said on Thursday evening. “At about 22:00 local time, Ukrainian troops opened fire at Belaya Kamenka from Grad multiple missile launcher systems,” the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying. According to the spokesman, about 40 shells were fired in all. Information about casulaties and damages is being verified. The DPR operations command said earlier on Thursday that a total of 1,308 episodes of shelling of DPR settlements by Ukrainian troops were reported during the day. Two civilians and one DPR serviceman were wounded. On August 26, the parties to the Contact Group for settling the armed civil conflict in eastern Ukraine made a yet another, ninth, attempt to attain ceasefire. The agreement they reached suggests the ceasefire takes effect as of September 1. However the security situation in Donbass has not visibly improved, with the parties continuing to exchange accusations of ceasefire violations. The Package of Measures to fulfil the September 2014 Minsk agreements, known as Minsk-2, that was signed in Minsk on February 12, 2015, envisaged a ceasefire regime between Ukrainian government forces and people’s militias in the self-proclaimed republics in Donetsk and Lugansk (DPR and LPR) starting from February 15, 2015 and a subsequent withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of engagement. The deal also laid out a roadmap for a lasting settlement in Ukraine, including local elections and constitutional reform to give more autonomy to the war-torn eastern regions.

slavdec2-16xLPR People’s Militia: 2 Ukrainian army officers committed suicide / Essence of Time / December 2, 2016 / 2 Ukrainian army officers, who had served in the zone of Kiev’s punitive operation (so-called “antiterrorist operation” − Editor), committed suicide, a spokesperson of People’s Militia of Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Major Andrey Marochko informed Lugansk Information Centre. According to Marochko, “we continue to receive the information indicating the low morale of the soldiers in the Ukrainian army units deployed at the contact line”. “Also, on the evening of December 1st, Ukrainian army serviceman crossed the contact line on a stolen infantry fighting vehicle and surrendered to LPR authorities. He did it not being able to withstand the pressure of nationalist militants and because of the condonation of the commanders.” The spokesperson of LPR People’s Militia stressed that the information on desertion and non-combat losses is being concealed from the superior officers of the Ukrainian army. “But this time there was an information leak. Therefore, a commission of the Task Force staff of the Ukrainian army arrived in the unit to inquire into the causes,” Marochko informed. Marochko informed earlier that Ukrainian army soldier committed suicide at the observation post in Bolotennoye village of Stanichno-Lugansky district. He also warned previously that the commanders of the Ukrainian units are concealing facts of desertion and increase of non-combat casualties among the personnel of the Ukrainian army in the zone of Kiev’s punitive operation from their superior officers.

slavdec2-16yFor the French Legion’s Russians and Ukrainians, the Donbass means nothing / Russia Beyond the Headlines / December 1, 2016 / Around 35 percent of the French Foreign Legion’s personnel are Russian-speaking East Europeans, a significant proportion of them hailing from Russia and Ukraine. The online news publication Gazeta.ru asked two legionnaires, one Russian and one Ukrainian, whether political differences over the war in Ukraine’s Donbass region were hurting their relationships with fellow servicemen. / The French Foreign Legion (Légion étrangère) is among the most battle-worthy units of France’s armed forces. slavdec2-16rSignificant events in Austria and Italy / By Alexander Dugin / Katehon.com / December 2, 2016 / On this coming Sunday, December 4th, two events of cardinal importance will take place in Europe. Observing them can reveal how the Trump effect works, this time in Western Europe. In Eastern Europe, it has already made itself known through the elections results in Bulgaria and Moldova, where candidates from the globalists’ party, i.e., the local factions of the planetary Swamp whom Donald Trump has declared war on, miserably lost to pro-Russian candidates. This time, presidential elections will be held in Austria, where the Swamp is represented by Alexander van der Bellen, the leader of the Austrian Green Party and Soros’ candidate, who is tellingly supported by Conchita Wurst. From the Putin-Trump party is the conservative Norbert Hofer, nominated by the Austrian Freedom Party – FPO. Hofer already beat van der Bellen by 15% in May of this year, thus driving the globalists to panic to the point of simply stuffing ballots in the second round in favor of the Green Globalist, van der Bellen. However, upon appeal by the leader of the FPO, Heinz-Christian Strache, the Austrian judiciary took the side of truth despite pressure from the Swamp. Thus, new elections were designated for December 4th. These elections are being held at a time when the globalists have been dealt a huge blow by Trump’s victory and are hardly ready to instigate new machinations. If one follows the will of the Austrian people itself, then Hofer has all the chances to win. If this happens, then we will be nearing the end of the EU to a significant extent. After all, the conservative Hofer represents the Eurosceptics who demand that Austria regain full sovereignty and who call for the dissolution of the Atlanticist bureaucracy in Brussels. Thus, the draining of the European Swamp is underway. The very fact that the leader of the Austrian Freedom Party is an opponent of homosexual marriage, gay parades, and is also a sincere friend of Russia is another significant condition. If Hofer wins, Austria has the chance to become great again. December 4th is no less of an important date for Italy. On this very same day, a referendum will be held on reforms proposed by the liberal government of Renzi. Renzi, of course, is not as much of a frantic globalist as . . . MORE>> Click here.

Lugansk Defense: Situation Report, 1.12.2016 / DONi News / December 1, 2016 / The situation in the zone of responsibility of the People’s Militia hasn’t changed significantly over the past day and is characterized as tense. The Ukrainian security officers continue provoking units of the LPR People’s Militia to get fire in return. Yesterday by order of the commander of the 24th brigade colonel Shevchenko at 23:10 the Ukrainian punishers fired at our positions near the monument to “Prince Igor” from the direction of the locality of Stanitsa Luganskaya with the use of grenade launchers. AFU continue considering the settlement of the conflict in the East of the country by force as the main one, and that’s why carry out concentration of military equipment and engineering of positions on the line of contact of troops. So, our investigation has detected the control observation post of the 14th brigade near the locality of Schastye, and near the locality of Tyoploye there was revealed a post of temporary dislocation of the 28th brigade. Besides, we know that near the town of Artyomovsk along the route in Debaltsevo direction, there is a large number of AFU armored machinery covered with camouflage net. We also revealed that from the locality of Raigorodky to the settlement of Lopaskino of Slavyanoserbsky district there had arrived 13 armored vehicles (BTR-80) and IFVs. AFU continue using civilian property for placement of arms and personnel. So, in the territory of thermal power plant in the locality of Schastye, near the second line of generators, there are placed three T-64 tanks and five armored vehicles “BTR-80”. To the settlement of Stanitsa Luganskaya there have arrived two battalions of National guard of Ukraine. The military personnel of these units is dressed in a military uniform of black color and armed with issue-type small arms. We know that the arrived military personnel carries out inspections of the population according to house registers, for the further accommodation of the AFU military personnel in houses of local residents. Thus, the Ukrainian side continues building up forces and means near the line of contact, thereby ignoring agreements of the “Norman Quartet” and the assumed international obligations. In my turn, I would like to emphasize that the People’s Militia observes the peace agreements reached in Minsk despite constant provocations by the Ukrainian security officers. At the moment on grounds of the LPR People’s militia there are held regular classes, special attention is paid to the recruits who wished to commit themselves to protection of the Republic. Besides, the military personnel of the 4th separate group of the LPR People’s Militia has visited the museum of history and culture where the exposition “War in Donbass” is presented. Our units are constantly on duty, having combat trainings for maintenance of high combat readiness to repulse any provocation and aggression from Ukrainian punishers’s side. –Official representative of the LPR People’s Militia Major Andrey Marochko, official translation by DONi News Agency

slavdec1-16wAzov: The Face, Strategy, and Future of Ukraine’s Leading Neo-Nazis / By Eduard Popov and Alexander Podsechin; Translated by Jafe Arnold / The Greanville Post / n November 21st, the center of Kiev hosted a widely-advertised protest action by so-called “radicals” – at least this is how Ukrainian neo-Nazis and their numerous parties, organizations, and movements are called in Russia. As a rule, Russian media rather abstractly presents the varieties of Ukrainian neo-Nazism, while Ukrainian media have learned to distinguish between these groups by pointing to the ideological and organizational differences between them. According to a number of publications in the Ukrainian press, the protest was prepared by Ukrainian neo-Nazis organized into two main columns. One was headed by the widely notorious (even abroad) Right Sector, and the other by the no less famous Azov battalion/regiment and its political “daughters.” It was in regards to none other than this organization that the famous journalist Pavel Sheremet, who was later assassinated in Kiev, said: “Azov is the most organized ideological force in Ukraine.” We have to agree with this assessment. The authors of these lines belong to those few Russian authors who have long been interested in the history and background of this organized formation, not so much in its fighting and punitive operations in Donbass as in its social and political plans and methods of struggle. Officially, Azov is only three years old. However, over this brief period of time it has succeeded in forming one of the most combat-capable (primarily in terms of motivation[1]) units of the Ukrainian Army/National Guard and gained valuable combat experience in many of the key battles of the war in Donbass, such as Mariupol and Ilovaysk in 2014 and Shirokino and Mariupol in 2015-16. Of course, Azov is far from the only volunteer formation, but there are several key points that qualitatively distinguish Azov from the host of other Ukrainian nationalist battalions and units that were formed in 2014-15. First of all, this concerns Azov’s specific ideology of social-nationalism, which all of its members must share, and whose volunteer nature is capable of . . . MORE>> Click here.

slavdec1-16vErdogan backtracks on Syria goals after call with Putin, says terrorists are only target / Rt.com / December 1, 2016 / urkey’s military operation in northern Syria does not target any country or individual, and is aimed only at terrorist groups, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. He had earlier stated that Turkey was in Syria to “end the rule of the cruel Assad.” “The aim of the Euphrates Shield Operation [in northern Syria] is not any country or person, but only terrorist organizations,” Erdogan said Thursday, as quoted by the Hurryiet Daily News. “No one should doubt this issue that we have uttered over and over, and no one should comment on it in another fashion or try to derail it,” he added. The latest comments come in contrast to remarks Erdogan made on Tuesday, when he said Turkey’s operation in Syria, launched in late August, aimed “to end the rule of the tyrant [Syrian President] al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror.” This drew surprise from Russia, which asked for clarification of the remarks. According to Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov, this was provided when Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish leader Erdogan discussed the issue by phone on Wednesday. “I can only say that a telephone conversation between our president and Erdogan took place yesterday, and the topic [of Turkey’s presence in Syria] was addressed. Yes, he [Erdogan] gave an explanation,” Ushakov told reporters on Thursday, without elaborating. On Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara’s operation in . . . Kiev seeks joint patrols with NATO in Black Sea / Rt.com / November 30, 2016 / Ukraine and NATO have been discussing joint patrols in the Black Sea, a top Ukrainian security official has said, citing Russia’s “behavior in the region” as the reason behind the move. “We are ready and we are discussing this option [of joint patrols with NATO],” said the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Aleksandr Turchynov. “The thing is that the Russian Armed Forces are dominating the Black Sea following the occupation of Crimea. There is no real alternative to them at the moment; there is no strong NATO fleet in the Black Sea. It was not necessary in the past, but now there is such necessity,” Turchynov told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday. The Ukrainian official recounted Russia’s “advances” in the Baltic region, referring to its strengthening of defenses in Kaliningrad and the Mediterranean, and noting Russian bases in Syria. “All this requires an appropriate response, primarily, on the part of NATO,” Turchynov said, adding that “NATO should be actively present in the Black Sea.” “Ukraine is prepared to render [NATO] full support, from offering our ports as hosts to starting joint [activities] of our Navy and NATO units… We do not have many [ships] but we are ready to participate in joint projects, such as joint patrols. Both our allies and we are interested in stopping the spread of Russia’s aggression,” he said. NATO’s official position has long been that military activity in Eastern Europe was a defensive response to alleged Russian “aggression” in Ukraine. Italy’s ex-prime minister says Trump should recognize Crimea’s referendum / TASS / November 30, 2016 / Results of the referendum were celebrated by many Crimeans but the vote was widely criticized by Western leaders. / MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. US President-elect Donald Trump should restore cooperation between Washington and Moscow by recognizing the referendum on the status of Crimea, Italy’s former Prime Minister and former Foreign Minister Lamberto Dini said on Wednesday, speaking at the Primakov Readings International Forum in Moscow. “Nowadays, tensions between Russia and the United States has reached, possibly, the highest level since 1998,” Dini said, emphasizing that the policy of sanctions “the US and European countries imposed on Russia” was to be blamed for this. “President-elect Trump has a unique opportunity to restore relations with Russia, in particular by recognizing the referendum in Crimea and cooperating with Russia against international terrorism in Syria,” Dini said, expressing hope that Russian-US cooperation should be resumed to make progress on international issues. Marine Le Pen (–COMEO/Shutterstock)

The Populist-Nationalist Tide / By Patrick Buchanan / American Conservative / November 28, 2016 / Now that the British have voted to secede from the European Union and America has chosen a president who has never before held public office, the French appear to be following suit. In Sunday’s runoff to choose a candidate to face Marine Le Pen of the National Front in next spring’s presidential election, the center-right Republicans chose Francois Fillon in a landslide. While Fillon sees Margaret Thatcher as a role model in fiscal policy, he is a socially conservative Catholic who supports family values and wants to confront Islamist extremism, control immigration, restore France’s historic identity, and end sanctions on Russia. “Russia poses no threat to the West,” says Fillon. But if not, the question arises, why NATO? Why are U.S. troops in Europe? As Le Pen is favored to win the first round of the presidential election and Fillon the second in May, closer Paris-Putin ties seem certain. Europeans themselves are pulling Russia back into Europe, and separating from the Americans. Next Sunday, Italy holds a referendum on constitutional reforms backed by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. If the referendum, trailing in the polls, fails, says Renzi, he will resign. Opposing Renzi is the secessionist Northern League, the Five Star Movement of former comedian Beppe Grillo, and the Forza Italia of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, a pal of Putin’s. “Up to eight of Italy’s troubled banks risk failure” if Renzi’s government falls, says the Financial Times. One week from today, the front pages of the Western press could be splashing the newest crisis of the EU. In Holland, the Party for Freedom of Geert Wilders, on trial for hate speech for urging fewer Moroccan immigrants, is running first or close to it in polls for the national election next March. Meanwhile, the door to the EU appears to be closing for Muslim Turkey, as the European Parliament voted to end accession talks with Ankara and its autocratic president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In welcoming Muslim immigrants, Germany’s Angela Merkel no longer speaks for Europe, even as she is about to lose her greatest ally, Barack Obama. Not only Europe but the whole world President-elect Trump is about to inherit seems in turmoil, with old regimes and parties losing their . . . MORE>> Click here.

slavnov30-16rEndgame in Syria: Turkey declares war, US Congress passed no-fly zone resolution / By Janus Putkonen / DONi News / November 30, 2016 / The US Congress has passed in the media silence a resolution, which promotes the U.S.- imposed “no-fly zone” over Syria. It happened before the Turkish president declared yesterday, that Turkish forces have invaded Syria with only one goal, “to end the rule of president Bashar al-Assad”. In this editorial news analysis I will give a wide overview from the situation, about the “endgame in Syria”, which causes now us a real threat from the World War 3. THE SECRET: U.S. CONGRESS HAS PASSED “NO-FLY ZONE” IN SYRIA: Late in the day, on November 15, only one week after the U.S. elections, the U.S. Congress convened in special session with normal rules suspended, so the House could pass House Resolution HR5732, the “Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act” calling for intensifying the already harsh sanctions on Syria, assessing the imposition of a “no-fly zone” inside Syria and escalating efforts to press criminal charges against Syrian officials. “Establishment of a no-fly zone is the next crucial step toward a full-scale war. It would mean Syrian planes could not fly in their own airspace and would bring the disturbing prospect of U.S. planes shooting down Russian planes — which are operating there on invitation from Syria to help battle ISIS”, writes journalist Justin Gardner. What’s most disturbing, basically it’s impossible to find any mainstream news sources about important information, that USA has already passed no-fly zone decision in Congress. Next step for the resolution is to pass the US Senate, but with total silence, we just can’t expect any such kind of discussion, which could affect the process. Obviously very powerful media-political order about using the “propaganda of silence” has been given, which has closed mouths in the western mainstream media. THE SHOCK: TURKISH PRESIDENT DECLARES WAR – ISRAEL ATTACKS SYRIA: Yesterday on Tuesday 29 November the president of NATO-Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a shocking speech at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul. His direct declaration of war against Syria was published in Turkish mainstream media, Hurriyet Daily: “Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian . . . MORE>> Click here.

slavnov28-16rThe OSCE in Donetsk – What are they there for? / By Graham Phillips / The Truth Speaker / November 28, 2016 / The OSCE, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, have been a sizeable presence in Donetsk for over 2 years now, with their fleet white Toyota Landcruiser vehicles in the city, and personnel numbering in total near 600 in Donbass, many of whom are based in Donetsk, being as it is the largest urban centre in Donbass, plus still at the centre of ongoing hostilities (the Lugansk area now, largely calm). Ostensibly, they are here to report on ceasefire violations, shelling, and other incidents related to a situation classified as war, in Donetsk, since May 26th, 2014. They provide spot reports, on their website, and maintain a Twitter feed. Yet, for an organisation over 40-years-old – it has its origins in the 1975 Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe (CSCE) held in Helsinki, Finland – there’s an alarming absence of any coherent policy. Take speaking to the media, you can, on occasion find a friendly OSCE monitor who will be more than happy to. But last week, when I tried speaking to them, one of them even slapped my camera. Viktor Yanukovych interview, session hall, Rostov-on-Don, November 28, 2016

Viktor Yanukovych interview by video teleconference, session hall in Rostov-on-Don, November 28, 2016

Deposed president Yanukovich accuses current authorities of war in Ukraine / TASS / November 28, 2016 / Yanukovich stated that the law adopted by the parliament in February 2014, preventing the Maidan events participants from being prosecuted, violates Ukraine’s Constitution. / ROSTOV-ON-DON, November 28. /TASS/. The armed conflict in Ukraine during the Maidan events was provoked by those who are at the country’s helm now, former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich said on Monday. Speaking on the events of winter 2013-2014, Yanukovich said the first calls to take up arms came from the Euromaidan leaders, including Prosecutor-General Yuri Lutsenko. “Lutsenko and other leaders of Maidan called for the armed standoff and taking over the presidential residence,” the former president said at the Rostov District Court via a video link-up answering the questions of Kiev’s Svyatoshinsky District Court about the Maidan events. This line in favor of the armed confrontation hampered the implementation of an agreement, which was signed those days between the authorities and the opposition representatives and “offered a peaceful solution to the situation,” Yanukovich said. “Unfortunately, it happened so that first these radicals seized power at night of February 21-22, captured state institutions, then the residence and finally they started preparing to suppress the citizens of the east and the south, who were dissatisfied with the events in Kiev,” he said. “This led to that people living in those regions started seeking an opportunity to protect themselves and their families,” Yanukovich said. “So the war began. But the war in Ukraine was started by the current authorities.” On European integration: Yanukovich said that he never rejected the initiative of the country’s European integration and only postponed the signing of an association agreement with the European Union. “We have never changed our decision, but simply postponed it and wanted to sign the document, which would meet the national interests of Ukraine,” he said during the court hearing. The former Ukrainian president said that all proposals made by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Ukraine “were not sincere.” “The IMF was constantly pushing us to hike tariffs and to increase the retirement age,” Yanukovich said. “We have received a negative answer from the IMF on November 24-24, 2013. We have been refused loans under conditions, which we believed were beneficial for Ukraine.” “However, I did not expect that as a result of all this my political opponents would resort to bloodshed,” he said. Asked by investigators to assess the following protests, Yanukovich said he was on a visit to Austria at that time and was very surprised with the behavior of protestors. . . . MORE>> Click here.

Ukraine plans to test-fire missiles over Crimea, risks repeat of MH-17 disaster / By Adam Garrie / The Duran / November 27, 2016 / In what is a highly dangerous and provocative move, Kiev has issued an official notification regarding its plans to test-fire missiles in civilian airspace over Russian territory. / As Donald Trump’s presidency fast approaches, a palpable sense of panic has set in among the faltering but still dangerous and violent fascist regime in Kiev. The regime is acting as though they are anticipating the stream of financial and military aid, which has flowed from Washington to Kiev under Obama, to cease under President Trump. This is indeed a very real possibility. To put it bluntly, Donald Trump appears set to keep his promises in respect of a new US foreign policy. The latest threat from Kiev is highly dangerous. The regime plans to test-fire missiles over Russian territory. The missiles would fly over Crimea, entering civilian airspace and threatening civil aviation. The official title is “Reforming Ukraine during war and populism.” In addition to board members, such persons as the ambassador of Latvia in Spain, a spokesman for the anti-corruption center of Ukraine, as well as political analysts are also invited for discussion. The debate’s character is obviously pro-Atlanticist. It is possible that the participants will discuss the option of maintaining the current regime in Kiev in the context of waning US support, which could happen early next year. Hide The essence of the organization: The European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) is an analytical center carrying out analysis on issues related to policy and security. The organization has set itself the task of strengthening Brussels’ influence in these areas, masking it under such wording as “strengthening common and coherent European policy”. Oliver Stone

New Oliver Stone documentary blames U.S. for Ukrainian revolutions / By Yekaterina Sinelschikova / Russia Beyond the Headlines / November 23, 2016 / A controversial new documentary produced by U.S. director Oliver Stone and broadcast on Russian television presents the Ukrainian revolutions of 2004 and 2014 as organized uprisings instigated from outside and planned with U.S. participation. Posted on YouTube and screened by nationwide Russian TV channel REN TV on Nov. 21, the film, titled Ukraine on Fire, features Ukraine’s ousted former president Viktor Yanukovych, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Vitaly Zakharchenko, who served as Ukrainian interior minister under Yanukovych, discussing the events leading up to and following the “Maidan” revolution of 2014. Stone, an award-winning director who is a staunch critic of Washington’s foreign policy, is no stranger to controversy and has a long history of making political films. He also directed 2015’s Snowden, a biopic of the fugitive former NSA agent turned whistleblower. Directed by Ukrainian American Igor Lopatenyuk, the film has been criticized for its one-sided portrayal of events in Kiev, with a Ukrainian citizen named Andrei Nezvany posting an online petition two days before the film’s online premiere asking for the picture to be banned because it “falsifies facts” and could “provoke mass protests in Ukraine.” Ukraine on Fire was made by the Los Angeles company Another Way Productions though the source of the project’s financing is not clear. Igor Strelkov, Hero of Donbass

Igor Strelkov, Hero of Donbass

News Site StalkerZone Condemns Igor Strelkov, Vladimir Suchan in Betrayal Analysis / By Karl Pomeroy / Quemado Institute / November 27, 2016 / Ollie Richardson, political analyst for the questionable “pro-Donbass” news source StalkerZone, condemns Donetsk People’s Republic hero Igor Strelkov and Novorossiya proponent Vladimir Suchan (often featured in our columns), in a bruising commentary today, declaring: “State Department/NATO assets like Vladimir Suchan and Igor Strelkov are two of the most anti-Russian forces being used to brainwash not only people in the west, but also the people in Donbass itself.” Richardson continues, “Suchan and Strelkov (S & S) try to implant a black/white hyper-emotional thinking mechanism inside the minds of those who are gullible enough to fall for their trickery.” This is rubbish. We at Quemado Institute have posted articles both praising and criticizing these two great protagonists of the Novorossiya dream. But to call them “State Department/NATO assets” is so far beyond the pale, the very quote exposes StalkerZone and Ollie Richardson for what they are: opportunists who rely on gimmicks to confound their readers and gain notoriety. Richardson also slams critics of Vladimir Putin, who many Donbass observers, including myself, have called a betrayer for stifling the Novorossiya Armed Forces (NAF), for promoting the Minsk agreements, and abandoning Donbass to its fate. As for StalkerZone, we do not post their articles in our columns because Ollie Richardson refused to give us permission to copy. Is he trying to get the word out? Apparently not. Richardson goes on to praise Russel Bonner Bentley, a Texan who fights in the DPR militia, for a video in which the American also slanders Strelkov and Suchan. Among those rightfully objecting to this StalkerZone slander piece is Twitter source Stepan Blezhovsky, who tweeted today in reply to Richardson and Bentley: “Bonner, As you know Minsk prevented the NAF from using tanks and artillery which were captured from the Fascists. | Minsk is Putin’s mechanism giving the ukrop every opportunity to crush the NAF. It is treason towards Novorossiya. | How dare you call Strelkov a traitor. He valiantly defended Slaviansk and prevented Donetsk from being overrun. | At that time Strelkov was begging for the most minimal military equipment (like kitchen knives) and for volunteers. | Strelkov politically is on the right like Dugin. So is the Party line now slandering heroes like Strelkov? | BTW Bonner, Strelkov would still be in Donbass had he not been ordered back to Russia by Putin.”

slavnov27-16xSBU General: Mejlis collects forces, establishes units and prepares for invasion into Crimea / DONi News / November 27, 2016 / Kherson region is one of the most problem-plagued regions for the Ukrainian authorities who should urgently pay attention to the south Ukraine. Such an opinion was expressed by the ex-head of the Main Investigation Department, Major General Vasily Vovk. “The most problem-plagued of all the “peaceful” regions is Khersonshchyna. Here several factors meet ideally for Russia. Firstly, no region is so close to the administrative border with the Crimea where the Russian army is deployed. Secondly, now the entire public attention is compelled to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions – there are military, volunteer battalions, volunteers, the OSCE Mission. Today very few people pay attention to Khersonshchyna – in fact, the region is unprotected. Thirdly, there is a dangerous factor connected with the Crimean Tatars. They have a strong desire to return the Crimea, they are accumulating forces now, creating armed groups,” believes the general. “The authorities are forced to be on friendly terms with Tatars and to turn a blind eye to their tricks – recollect at least blasting of an electrical transmission tower. And the fourth dangerous factor is the lack of the Ukrainian vector. I don’t want to offend local patriots at all, but we have what we have. People’s discontent is growing,” added Vovk.

Full EU Alternate Media Censorship: Europe Takes Lead over NATO, US – Janus Putkonen / The new rising threat: EU Information Blockade / By Janus Putkonen / DONi Press, posted with conclusion at Quemado Insitute / November 26, 2016 / We are edging towards a full scale information and media war. Yes, you can still read this article in the territory of European Union, but for how long? Concerned international discussion has arisen during the past week on the EU draft resolution which was passed in the European parliament Wednesday. Russia’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, warned that “if the EU begins censoring Russian media, then we will of course take measures in response”. Her warning is based on the EU report, which was voted in favor on Wednesday: the EU strategic communication to counteract propaganda against it by third parties. The European Parliament voted on a non-legislative resolution which urges the EU to “respond to information warfare by Russia,” with RT and Sputnik news agencies branded the most dangerous “tools” of “hostile propaganda.” Zakharova branded the document as “paranoia” and part of “the ongoing demonization of Russia,” adding that it is filled with “made-up messages, myths,” and reflects “the ideology which has been cultivated towards Russia recently.” “It is irresponsible to equate Russian media organizations with terrorist groups such as Islamic State. It is irresponsible to mix up Russian media with Kremlin-controlled media,” said Ricardo Gutierrez, General Secretary of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), describing the tone of the document as “worrying” and reminiscent of “the Cold War climate.” Basically situation is that the EU is accusing the Russian media of what the European media always . . . Issues regarding the increased number of armistice violations, the exchange of prisoners and the implementation of political paragraphs of the Minsk agreements were submitted to the agenda. The source noted that, despite the fact that the roadmap and implementation of the “Steinmeier formula” are the basic steps to implement the political part of the Minsk agreements, approved by the members of the “Normandy Format,” it does not interfere with the Ukrainian side in every way to delay even the discussion of these issues. “Ukraine’s destructive position, according to the DPR envoy Denis Pushilin, is based on Ukraine’s unavailability to carry out these paragraphs. The implementation of the Minsk agreements’ political paragraphs requires political will and responsibility from the Ukrainian president and the deputies, and hence progress on this issue in the current Ukrainian government is very doubtful,” the source said. slavnov24-16yItaly, EU and Trump: Alexander Dugin Interviews Matteo Salvini / Katehon / November 24, 2016 / Alexander Dugin: Greetings, Mr. Salvini. Mr. Salvini: Thank you for your invitation. Alexander Dugin: Welcome to Moscow. Mr. Salvini: Thank you. Alexander Dugin: At the beginning of our conversation, I would like to know what you think about the election of Trump as president of the US. We know that you met with him on the eve of the elections in New York. You were one of the few European politicians to have done so. Mr. Salvini: Yes, this election is great news. A lesson in democracy. In Trump’s program, there are such theses as putting an end to wars and the export of democracy around the whole world, revising NATO and the UN’s roles, and pursuing friendly relations with Russia. Great attention is also paid to what is happening in the United States: the war against illegal immigration and the introduction of proportional taxation (a flat tax). Compared to Clinton’s line, which represented the interests of the banks, the financial elite and its policies, his policy is a breath of fresh air, which will benefit all of us. Alexander Dugin: What do you think: will Trump’s victory influence Europe in general and the European Union in particular? Mr. Salvini: This victory, as well as the victory of Brexit during the British referendum in June, will have a uniquely positive impact. The peoples are freeing themselves. Behind Clinton, as well as Juncker and Merkel in the EU, there is the financial elite, political forces, and lobbies, but the common people are not for them. That’s why the fact of the defeat of the ruling . . . MORE>> Click here.
